Music education, not just fun – a necessity

For years, studies have illuminated the importance of music in the development of cognitive and collaborative skills vital to learning.  Recent studies have also highlighted that individuals exposed to music education are more likely to be engaged citizens, go on to higher education, have higher paying jobs and strive more for personal excellence.
