Marcy Straw has provided consulting services in interim leadership, fundraising, strategy, and marketing to nonprofits and artists since founding her practice in 1990. Her recent projects include work with Berkeley Symphony, Anna Deavere Smith Pipeline Project, Theatreworks, and Eugenie Chan Theater Projects. Marcy has also served as Executive Director for the Klein String Competition, UC Student Association, Bay Area Leadership Foundation, Teatro ZinZanni, and Midsummer Mozart Festival, and held leadership roles at organizations such as Pacific Environment, California Shakespeare Theater, and ODC Dance. She holds an MBA from John F. Kennedy University and is a proud enrolled citizen of the Cherokee Nation.
