Tailored Program Options For Your School
We understand that each school has unique schedules, needs, and goals for students. That’s why Music for Minors offers a range of program options, designed to seamlessly fit into your school day. From flexible program lengths to adaptable session times, we work closely with you to ensure every student has the chance to experience the joy of music. Here’s how we can tailor our programs to your needs.
• Program Length: Choose from 18, 24, or 28 weekly sessions, allowing flexibility based on your academic calendar and objectives.
• Session Length: Each session is 30-45 minutes, providing a consistent and manageable block of learning within the school day.
• Grade Levels: We serve students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 5th grade, with programs tailored to support developmental milestones and cognitive growth.
• Number of Classrooms: MFM programs can be scaled to meet the needs of multiple classrooms within your school.
• Subsidies Based on FRPM%: Schools with a higher percentage of students receiving Free and Reduced-Price Meals (FRPM) are eligible for program subsidies to ensure access to quality music education.
Funding Sources
Our vision is a world where every child has access to music at school. We partner with a range of funding sources—including district and education foundations, Title I or Title IVa, PTO/PTA groups, and grants—to make this vision a reality, especially for schools with higher needs.
Pricing and Subsidies
We work closely with each school to design a cost-effective solution that fits within your budget. Over 50% of the schools we serve receive subsidies based on their FRPM rates, ensuring that music education remains accessible for all.
Scheduling
Our scheduling process is designed with your school’s needs in mind. We collaborate with you to determine the best times for music classes, working around your schedule to provide consistent, enriching instruction that enhances students' learning experiences.
"Our music teacher truly shares her enthusiasm for music and love of learning with our students. I see and hear the students singing the songs later in the day or saying that music was a favorite part of their day."
