Steve Eckert has worked with children, youth, and families in schools for more than 40 years, first as a Clinical Social Worker and later as CEO of nonprofits providing behavioral health services. A lifelong musician, he began playing guitar in church and rock bands as a teenager and now performs regularly on guitar, bass, mandolin, and vocals with three Bay Area bands—5150, 50 Moon, and Ghosts. Steve also serves on the Board of Directors for California Coast Music Camp, a nonprofit dedicated to building community and providing acoustic music education.
