Josh Maccombs earned his B.S. and Master of Education from The Ohio State University and began his career as an elementary school teacher, where he first developed an interest in educational technology. He went on to lead support, customer success, and implementation teams at Inkling, now Echo360, where he currently serves as a Product Manager. Music has remained a constant alongside his work in education: Josh is a singer-songwriter who performs original music and ’90s alternative rock covers with his Bay Area band. He joined the MFM Board in 2026.
