Anne’s first musical memories are of sitting on her mother’s lap at the piano and singing songs from the Mister Rogers’ Songbook, which inspired her to begin piano lessons at age five. Classically trained in piano, Anne has also sung in choirs throughout her life, performing with West Bay Opera, Stanford Summer Chorus, and Soli Deo Gloria, as well as singing solos in church. After majoring in Elementary Education in Illinois, Anne worked in administrative and client services before a life-changing mission trip to Poland in 2017, where she taught English to elementary students. The experience inspired her to return to school and earn her California teaching credential. Anne is excited to bring her love of music to Music for Minors. In her spare time, she enjoys playing piano and singing, agility training with her dog Lizzy Bennet, watching British television, and finding reasons to laugh.
